Research Assistant

Role Overview

The Research Assistant role at Keystone Recruitment is a remote opportunity partnering with a leading AI research team for a large-scale supervised fine-tuning initiative. The role requires strong writing, reasoning, and communication skills for applied AI research on a flexible, project-based basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts reflecting natural language queries.
• Review and edit AI-generated responses for clarity and accuracy.
• Write high-quality human-authored responses.
• Generate prompt variations to test model behavior.
• Evaluate responses across different tones and styles.
• Identify ambiguities and weaknesses in model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

Current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate with strong written communication and critical thinking skills. Must synthesize information clearly, pay high attention to detail, and work independently in a remote environment. Applicants from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged.

Engagement Details

This is a fully remote, asynchronous, project-based engagement with an expected commitment of 10–40 hours per week. It is an independent contractor position with potential for extension based on project needs.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Hourly rate between USD 35 and 45 based on experience and performance under an independent contractor classification.
