One of Keystone Recruitment's clients is collaborating with a leading AI research team on a significant supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance how advanced language models interpret and respond to real-world questions. We are actively seeking talented writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement.

Role Overview

This opportunity is perfectly suited for individuals with exceptional reasoning and communication skills who are passionate about contributing to applied AI research, all while maintaining full control over their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that genuinely reflect how people ask questions across a wide array of general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure they are clear, accurate, and ultimately useful.
• Author high-quality human responses for a selection of prompts, setting a benchmark for AI performance.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to rigorously test nuanced differences in model behavior and understanding.
• Systematically evaluate AI responses, considering varying lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Proactively identify ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or outright failure cases within the model's outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic background.
• Demonstrated strong written communication skills and sharp critical thinking abilities.
• Proven capacity to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• High attention to detail, particularly when comparing and evaluating similar written responses.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a fully remote work environment.

Engagement Details

• This is a fully remote and asynchronous role, allowing you to work entirely on your own schedule.
• An expected commitment of approximately 10–40 hours per week.
• Project-based engagement with strong potential for extension based on ongoing project requirements.
• Work is performed strictly on an independent contractor basis.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Compensation ranges from $35–$45 per hour, with the specific rate based on your experience and demonstrated performance. This role is classified as an independent contractor position.
