Research Assistant - Remote (Global)

This project aims to enhance how advanced language models effectively respond to real-world inquiries. We are actively seeking highly skilled writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that accurately reflect natural human questioning across a diverse range of general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure superior clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human responses for a selection of specific prompts.
• Generate subtle variations of existing prompts to thoroughly test and analyze nuanced differences in model behavior.
• Rigorously evaluate AI responses across various lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Systematically identify any ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or critical failure cases within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic background.
• Demonstrably strong written communication and advanced critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information clearly and precisely.
• High attention to detail, particularly when comparing and evaluating similar written responses.
• Proven capacity to work independently and manage time effectively within a remote working environment.

Engagement Details

• This role is fully remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work entirely on your own schedule.

• Work will be performed strictly on an independent contractor basis.
