One of Keystone Recruitment's clients is collaborating with a leading AI research team on a significant supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance how advanced language models effectively respond to real-world questions. We are seeking talented writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering flexible, project-based work. This role is ideal for individuals with strong reasoning and communication skills who are interested in contributing to applied AI research while maintaining control over their professional schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that mirror natural human questioning across diverse topics.
• Review and edit AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Compose high-quality human-authored responses for selected prompts.
• Develop small variations of prompts to thoroughly test nuanced differences in model behavior.
• Evaluate AI responses based on varying lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Identify and document ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or potential failure cases within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic background.
• Demonstrated strong written communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Proven capacity to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort in comparing similar written responses.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

Engagement Details

This is a fully remote and asynchronous role, allowing you to work on your own schedule. The expected commitment ranges from approximately 10 to 40 hours per week. This project-based engagement has the potential for extension depending on ongoing project needs. All work is performed on an independent contractor basis.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $35 to $45 per hour, based on your experience and performance. This is classified as an independent contractor position.
