This project aims to enhance the responsiveness of advanced language models to real-world inquiries. We are seeking individuals with strong writing and critical thinking abilities to join as independent contractors. This flexible, project-based opportunity is ideal for those interested in applied AI research who also desire control over their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that accurately reflect how people naturally ask questions across various general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human responses to a selection of prompts.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to thoroughly test nuanced differences in AI model behavior.
• Evaluate AI responses across diverse lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Identify any ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or potential failure cases within the model's outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate.
• Demonstrated strong written communication and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort in comparing similar written responses.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage time effectively within a remote environment.

Engagement Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous work arrangement, allowing you to set your own schedule.
• Expected weekly commitment ranges from approximately 10 to 40 hours.
• This is a project-based engagement with the possibility of extension based on future project requirements.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with the specific rate dependent on your experience and performance. This position is classified as an independent contractor role.
