Job Overview: Research Assistant
Keystone Recruitment is seeking highly analytical and technically trained professionals to participate in compensated research conversations for one of our clients. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and insights, contributing to a series of valuable research projects while earning compensation for your time. The role is offered as an hourly contract for independent contractors.
You will be sharing your experiences, financial behaviors, decision-making processes, and the tools you use in a confidential setting. Participation involves a short survey that includes multiple-choice questions, short answers, and some voice-recorded responses.
Professional Background
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong technical or analytical background, typically holding a STEM-preferred technical degree or working in highly technical, knowledge-based occupations. Ideal candidates will work in roles such as:
- Software engineering, Data science, Product management, and Design
- Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Aerospace, etc.)
- Finance & quantitative roles (Investment banking, Private equity, Venture capital, Hedge funds, Trading, FP&A)
- Science & research fields

What to Expect
- A short survey (45–60 minutes) comprising multiple choice, short answer, and voice-recorded questions.
- Questions will focus on your experiences, financial behavior, decision-making, and tool usage.
- Your participation will be completely confidential.
Contract and Payment Terms
- Engagement as an independent contractor on an hourly basis.
- Work is fully remote and can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects may be subject to extension, shortening, or early conclusion based on project needs and performance.
- No access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution will be required.
- Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Please note: H1-B or STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time.
