Role Overview

Keystone Recruitment's client is collaborating with a leading AI research team on a significant Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance the responsiveness of advanced language models to real-world inquiries. We are actively seeking skilled writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement. Key Responsibilities for the Research Assistant

• Create realistic prompts that accurately reflect how people naturally ask questions across diverse general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Compose high-quality human-authored responses for selected prompts, serving as benchmarks.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to rigorously test nuanced differences in model behavior and understanding.
• Evaluate AI responses across various lengths, tones, and instructional styles for consistency and effectiveness.
• Identify ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or potential failure cases within the outputs produced by the language model.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic discipline.
• Demonstrated strong written communication skills and a keen ability for critical thinking.
• Proficiency in synthesizing complex information clearly and with high accuracy.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when comparing similar written responses.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively within a remote working environment.

Engagement Details

• This is a fully remote and asynchronous position, allowing you to work entirely on your own schedule.
• Expected commitment typically ranges from approximately 10 to 40 hours per week.
