Job Description
Records Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced File Clerk to contribute subject matter expertise to AI training initiatives focused on intelligent document management. In this remote role, you will apply your knowledge of filing systems, records organization, and document workflows to help train and refine AI models that categorize, process, and manage structured and unstructured records accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in physical and digital file management systems.
- Annotate and structure datasets to train AI systems in document categorization.
- Provide detailed feedback on AI outputs for document classification.
- Simulate real-world filing scenarios including edge cases.
- Develop documentation outlining filing rules, taxonomy, and standards.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data teams for improved workflows.
- Evaluate AI performance in sorting various filing systems.
- Contribute insights to enhance automation accuracy and retrieval processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a File Clerk, Records Clerk, or Records Specialist.
- Strong understanding of alphabetical, numerical, chronological and subject filing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience managing high volumes of documents efficiently.
- Proficiency with office software and digital document management systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital records management or EDMS.
- Background in data annotation, content tagging, or AI projects.
- Familiarity with information governance, retention schedules, or compliance standards.
- Experience training or mentoring others in records management practices.
