Real Estate Specialist at Keystone Recruitment
Keystone Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a client for an experienced Real Estate Specialist to support the development of advanced financial and tax reasoning systems. This fully remote, contract role involves applying real-world real estate tax expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated analysis.
The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience in real estate tax advisory or partnership taxation and can translate complex structuring strategies into structured, high-quality written feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated analyses related to real estate tax structuring and planning.
- Assess reasoning involving like-kind exchanges, depreciation methods, and cost segregation.
- Validate treatment of depreciation recapture and capital gains calculations.
- Evaluate partnership tax allocations, capital account mechanics, and distribution waterfalls.
- Analyze tax considerations in asset-level versus entity-level real estate transactions.
- Review application of real estate–specific tax credits and incentives.
- Identify compliance risks, technical misapplications, or structuring inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with research teams to improve AI performance in real estate tax workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in real estate tax advisory, transaction tax, or partnership taxation.
- Strong knowledge of depreciation rules, capital gains treatment, and like-kind exchange frameworks.
- Experience working with real estate entities, funds, developers, or similar structures.
- Familiarity with partnership taxation principles and related tax elections.
- Strong analytical writing and structured feedback skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, JD (Tax), or comparable professional experience.
- Experience reviewing complex tax memoranda or transaction models.
- Familiarity with state and local real estate tax considerations.
- Exposure to institutional real estate investment environments.
Engagement Details
This is an independent contractor engagement with flexible scheduling, project-based or part-time (approximately 10–20 hours per week). Compensation is $80–$120 per hour, depending on experience and scope, with weekly payment via secure payment platforms. Applicants must be legally authorized to perform independent contractor services in their country of residence, located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia.
