Keystone Recruitment's client is actively seeking engineering professionals for project-based contributions, specifically to support advanced AI systems capable of reasoning through complex, domain-specific engineering challenges. This role is perfectly suited for engineers who possess robust analytical capabilities, extensive hands-on experience, and the aptitude to develop and assess realistic technical scenarios effectively.
Role Overview
One of our clients is seeking engineering professionals to contribute on a project basis, supporting AI systems designed to reason through complex, domain-specific engineering problems. This role is ideal for engineers with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience, and the ability to create and evaluate realistic technical scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed prompts based on real-world engineering scenarios, including system design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to engineering principles.
- Draft high-quality reference solutions and provide rationales for technical decisions.
- Identify logical gaps, errors, or unrealistic assumptions in AI outputs.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other technical experts and reviewers using shared documentation and structured feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, software, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience in engineering practice, R&D, or technical consulting.
- Strong understanding of engineering methodologies, tools, and applied problem-solving.
- Excellent technical writing and structured reasoning skills.
- Comfortable reviewing model outputs across a range of engineering domains.
Additional Information
- Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week.
- Tasks may include open-ended analysis, specification reviews, calculations, and applied design scenarios.
- Deliverables-driven work with clear quality standards and expert peer review.
