Orthopaedic Surgeon at Keystone Recruitment
One of our clients is hiring board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeons to support the development of advanced clinical decision-support systems focused on musculoskeletal diagnostics, surgical decision-making, and post-operative care pathways. This remote role connects real-world orthopedic practice with applied AI to ensure accurate clinical representation and safety.
About the Role
As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will apply your surgical expertise to review, annotate, and validate orthopedic datasets. Your work will directly influence AI systems used for imaging interpretation, operative planning, implant selection, and rehabilitation protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and label orthopedic consult notes, imaging reports, operative summaries, and case data
- Validate diagnoses, surgical indications, implant decisions, and rehabilitation plans
- Audit datasets for clinical accuracy and alignment with AAOS guidelines
- Review AI-generated treatment recommendations for safety and appropriateness
- Define annotation standards for acute injuries, degenerative conditions, and sports-related pathology
- Advise on complex cases including revision surgery, polytrauma, and complex fractures
Ideal Qualifications
- MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active U.S. medical license
- 5+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in surgical planning, imaging interpretation, and post-operative management
- Interest in medical AI, informatics, or clinical data validation preferred
