Join our customer’s team as a Music Producer, also serving as a Music Director and Composer – AI Trainer. This pivotal hourly contract role allows you to leverage your deep expertise in music theory, orchestration, and composition to train and refine cutting-edge AI models. You will play a crucial part in blending creative artistry with advanced technology, enabling AI systems to grasp and replicate musical nuance, diverse styles, and performance intricacies across various genres.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, curate, and annotate high-quality music datasets essential for training AI systems in composition, arrangement, and musical direction.
• Thoroughly review AI-generated music outputs, providing precise and actionable feedback to ensure accuracy, emotional depth, and genre fidelity.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and data scientists to analyze model performance and propose innovative creative improvements.
• Develop comprehensive guidelines and rigorous standards for dataset curation, with a strong emphasis on musicality, structural integrity, and stylistic consistency.
• Lead engaging workshops or knowledge-sharing sessions to foster team skill development in areas such as music theory, orchestration, and emerging industry trends.
• Effectively communicate complex musical concepts both in written and verbal forms to cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and understanding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience as a music director, composer, or arranger across a wide array of diverse genres.
• Advanced theoretical knowledge of music theory, orchestration, composition, and practical proficiency with digital music production tools (DAWs).
• Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to curate, annotate, and critically assess music for professional or educational applications.
• Comfort and experience with remote collaboration tools and various digital audio workstations.
• Strong organizational capabilities, with the capacity to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.
• A profound passion for driving innovation at the convergence of music and AI technology.

• Prior experience with AI, machine learning, or specialized music technology platforms.
• A background in teaching, coaching, or mentoring within music-related disciplines.
