Job Summary
Keystone Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Meteorologist to join our client's team. This 100% remote, part-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to interpret, analyze, and communicate critical weather information globally. The ideal candidate excels at delivering accurate forecasts and translating complex atmospheric data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for preparing reports, briefings, and alerts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze meteorological data using industry-standard forecasting tools and methodologies.
- Produce accurate weather forecasts and detailed analytical reports.
- Prepare and deliver weather briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor weather systems and issue timely alerts for severe conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and mission-critical decisions.
- Contribute to improving forecasting processes and workflow efficiencies.
- Stay current with advancements in meteorological research, modeling techniques, and forecasting technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in weather forecasting and meteorological analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency with meteorological software, data visualization tools, and remote sensing technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Compensation & Work Arrangement
This is a part-time contract role offering $30–$60 per hour, commensurate with experience. The position is 100% remote and can be based globally.
