Keystone Recruitment is seeking talented Machine Learning Engineers and Researchers for one of their leading AI research lab clients. This fully remote, project-based opportunity involves supporting the evaluation of advanced AI systems. You will be responsible for translating practical ML research and engineering workflows into structured evaluation suites to measure AI performance on real-world tasks. This role is ideal for experts with hands-on ML research experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and write detailed evaluation suites for machine learning engineering tasks.
• Assess AI-generated solutions across areas such as model training, debugging, optimization, and experimentation.
• Collaborate with research teams to ensure evaluation frameworks reflect real-world ML engineering workflows.

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied ML research.
• Hands-on experience with model development, experimentation, and evaluation.
• Background in ML research (industry lab or academic setting strongly preferred).
• Strong reasoning skills around ML system design choices and tradeoffs.
• Clear written communication and high attention to technical detail.

Additional Information

This engagement is as an independent contractor, fully remote with flexible scheduling. Project durations may vary based on needs and performance. The work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise based on hours worked.
