Role Overview: Junior Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Project Manager to provide essential support in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across both product and engineering teams. This position is perfectly suited for an individual early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to real-world product development within a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
You will work in close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Operations teams. Your primary objective will be to help ensure that projects are clearly scoped, meticulously tracked, and delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support comprehensive project planning and execution across product and engineering teams.
- Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks and diligently maintain sprint boards and backlogs.
- Track critical deadlines and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure punctual delivery.
- Document all key project decisions, updates, and action items in a clear and accessible manner.
- Identify potential blockers early in the process and escalate them appropriately to prevent delays.
- Coordinate essential meetings, daily stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies to foster collaboration.
- Maintain up-to-date project dashboards and generate reporting for leadership visibility and informed decision-making.
- Help ensure robust alignment between product, design, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and exceptional time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable and adaptable when operating in fast-moving and evolving environments.
- Possesses a proactive mindset coupled with a strong sense of ownership.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion, monday.com, or Slack.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience gained within a startup, product-focused, or engineering environment.
- A basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- A genuine interest in AI, SaaS, or broader technology products.
