Image/Video Annotator
Keystone Recruitment is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Multimodal Image & Video Annotation Specialist to support one of our global AI-focused clients. This remote, hourly contract role involves analyzing and annotating images and short video clips to identify visual elements, contextual details, and narrative flow. Your precise contributions will be crucial in training and refining next-generation multimodal AI models that interpret scenes, motion, context, and human interactions.
Role Overview
As an Image/Video Annotator, you will play a direct role in the development of advanced AI systems. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking to accurately describe visual content for AI model training.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze images and short video clips to identify subjects, objects, environments, actions, and emotions.
- Describe temporal sequences, scene transitions, and interactions in video content.
- Annotate complex visual cues including lighting, mood, spatial relationships, and storytelling elements.
- Follow structured annotation guidelines to ensure clarity, consistency, and data accuracy.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness and relevance.
- Collaborate with project leads to refine annotation standards and quality benchmarks.
- Contribute high-quality structured datasets for multimodal AI training.
Required Qualifications
- Strong English reading and writing skills with high comprehension.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow nuanced instructions.
- Analytical thinking and ability to interpret context and intent.
- Comfort working with digital files and online collaboration tools.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in image or video annotation.
- Familiarity with computer vision or AI-related projects.
- Background in media, communications, design, or visual storytelling (a plus).
Engagement Details
- Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave).
- Commitment: Minimum 20 hours per week (4 hours/day).
- Required overlap: 4 hours with PST.
- Fully remote opportunity.
