Keystone Recruitment's client is actively seeking a Humor Analyst and Content Rater to join their team. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on evaluating short-form humorous content that is popular among North American teens. As a Humor Analyst and Content Rater, you will play a crucial part in supporting AI training initiatives by assessing the quality of humor, cultural relevance, and clarity within teen-focused digital content.

Key Responsibilities

• Review a diverse range of short-form humorous content, including memes, short videos, social media posts, and scripts.
• Evaluate humor based on a structured set of criteria, considering aspects such as relatability, originality, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Provide clear and concise explanations for why specific content is perceived as funny, awkward, outdated, or unclear.
• Incorporate references to North American slang, current trends, and social norms when conducting humor analysis.
• Identify and document recurring humor formats, prevalent meme styles, and various cultural signals common within teen communities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated strong familiarity with North American teen internet culture and current digital trends.
• Comfortable with both analyzing and clearly articulating different humor styles and cultural nuances.
• Possesses strong written communication skills, capable of delivering clear, logical, and well-structured explanations.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to maintain consistency when applying rating criteria across various content types.
• Committed to adhering to a structured weekly schedule, including required overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.

Engagement Details

• This is an independent contractor assignment; therefore, it does not include medical benefits or paid leave.
• The position is fully remote.
• Requires a commitment of 30 hours per week, with a mandatory 4-hour overlap with PST working hours.
• The contract has an initial duration of 1 month.
• Compensation is up to $20 per hour.
