Job Summary
The GIS Specialist role at Keystone Recruitment is a fully remote hourly contract position. You will utilize your expertise in geospatial analysis, cartography, and photogrammetry to support advanced AI model training. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about spatial intelligence, precision mapping, and cutting edge geospatial science.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, analyze, and interpret spatial data from various sources
- Prepare and refine maps, charts, tables, and 3D models
- Delineate geographic features using stereoplotting and graphics tools
- Interpret legal land records and verify property boundaries
- Design and evaluate GIS algorithms, data structures, and interfaces
- Perform spatial data validation and quality assurance
- Annotate geospatial datasets for machine learning applications
- Collaborate with AI and engineering teams for model improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Cartography, Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geography, or related field is required. Strong hands-on experience with GIS, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, and map preparation is essential. Candidates must be proficient in using photogrammetric software, interpreting satellite imagery, conducting surveys, and familiar with programming languages like Python.

- Advanced degree or professional certifications in GIS or photogrammetry
- Experience in collaborating with AI or machine learning teams
