FrontEnd Software Engineer

Role Overview

One of Keystone Recruitment's clients is seeking experienced FrontEnd Software Engineers to support high-impact research collaborations with leading AI labs. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in building high-quality training datasets that enhance AI model performance on real-world client-side web development tasks.

About the Project

You will be focused on creating high-quality "vibe coding" datasets. These datasets are specifically designed to train AI models on essential client-side web development skills, encompassing areas like state management, interactive features, UI correctness, and overall robustness.

Projects you may engage with include:

• Interactive web applications
• Browser-based games
• Visualizations and simulations
• Front-end tools and utilities

Key Responsibilities

• Write realistic, self-contained prompts tailored for client-side web applications, games, and simulations.
• Develop precise, binary rubrics, clearly tagged by verification type.
• Ensure all rubric criteria are strictly pass/fail and fully verifiable through screenshot and code inspection.
• Design tasks that comprehensively test UI behavior, logic correctness, and edge-case handling.

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in front-end or full-stack development, or relevant technical content creation in web development.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred).
• Strong proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or vanilla JavaScript.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise technical specifications and structured evaluation criteria.
• A highly detail-oriented mindset, with a strong emphasis on verifiability and precision in your work.

Project Details

This project offers an immediate start date and is anticipated to last 1–2 months. The commitment is part-time, typically 15–25 hours per week, with flexibility to increase up to 40 hours per week. This is a fully remote and asynchronous position, allowing for significant flexibility.

The application process involves:

• Completing a brief AI-led interview (approximately 15 minutes).
• Receiving follow-up communication within a few days regarding next steps and onboarding details.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $70–$80 per hour, based on your experience. Payments are made weekly via supported payment platforms. This role is classified as an independent contractor position. Project duration is flexible and may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on performance and evolving project needs.
