Role Overview: Freelance Writing Specialist

Keystone Recruitment is partnering with a leading AI research team on a large-scale supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to significantly improve how advanced language models respond to real-world questions. We are seeking talented writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based opportunity. This role is perfect for individuals with excellent reasoning and communication skills who are keen to contribute to applied AI research while maintaining control over their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that accurately reflect natural human questioning across diverse general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human responses for a selection of specific prompts.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to thoroughly test nuanced differences in model behavior.
• Evaluate AI responses across a spectrum of lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Systematically identify ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or potential failure cases within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic background.
• Demonstrated strong written communication and exceptional critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• High attention to detail, especially when comparing and evaluating similar written responses.
• Capacity to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote work environment.

Engagement Details

• This is a fully remote and asynchronous role, allowing you to work on your own schedule.
• Expected commitment ranges approximately from 10 to 40 hours per week.
• Engagement is project-based, with strong potential for extension based on ongoing project needs.
• Work will be performed on an independent contractor basis.

Compensation & Contract Terms

Compensation is set at USD35–45 per hour, based on experience and performance, and classified as an independent contractor engagement.
