Our client is collaborating with a premier AI research team on a significant supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance how advanced language models effectively respond to real-world inquiries. We are actively seeking highly skilled writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement. This role is ideal for individuals possessing exceptional reasoning and communication abilities, who are keen to contribute to applied AI research while maintaining autonomy over their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that accurately reflect natural human questioning across a broad range of general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human responses for selected prompts, serving as gold standards.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to thoroughly test nuanced differences in model behavior and understanding.
• Evaluate AI responses across diverse criteria including length, tone, and adherence to instructional styles.
• Systematically identify ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or potential failure cases within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong written communication and advanced critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• High attention to detail and comfort in comparing and evaluating similar written responses.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage time effectively within a remote working environment.

Engagement Details

• This is a fully remote and asynchronous position, allowing you to work on your own flexible schedule.
• Expected commitment ranges approximately from 10 to 40 hours per week.
