Role Overview

Keystone Recruitment's client is collaborating with a leading AI research team on a significant supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance how advanced language models respond to real-world questions. We are seeking talented writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong reasoning and communication skills who are keen to contribute to applied AI research while managing their own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that mirror natural human questioning across diverse topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses for clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human-generated responses to specific prompts.
• Develop slight variations of prompts to evaluate subtle differences in model behavior.
• Assess AI responses based on varying lengths, tones, and instructional styles.
• Identify ambiguities, weaknesses, or potential failure points within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate from any academic background.
• Demonstrated strong written communication and critical thinking capabilities.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort in comparing similar written content.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a fully remote setting.

Engagement Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous work, allowing you to set your own schedule.
• Expected commitment ranges from approximately 10 to 40 hours per week.
• Project-based engagement with possibilities for extension based on ongoing project requirements.
• Work is performed strictly on an independent contractor basis.

Compensation & Contract Terms

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $35 to $45 per hour, determined by experience and performance, under an independent contractor classification.
