Keystone Recruitment's client is collaborating with a leading AI research team on a significant supervised fine-tuning (SFT) initiative. This project aims to enhance how advanced language models interpret and respond to real-world inquiries. We are looking for talented writers and critical thinkers to join as independent contractors, offering a flexible, project-based engagement. This role is perfect for individuals with strong reasoning and communication skills who are keen to contribute to applied AI research while managing their own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic prompts that mirror natural human questions across various general topics.
• Review and meticulously edit AI-generated responses for superior clarity, accuracy, and overall usefulness.
• Author high-quality human responses to selected prompts, setting a standard for model output.
• Generate subtle variations of prompts to thoroughly test nuanced differences in AI model behavior.
• Evaluate AI responses across diverse lengths, tones, and instructional styles for comprehensive analysis.
• Proactively identify and document ambiguities, inherent weaknesses, or outright failure cases within model outputs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate across any academic discipline.
• Demonstrated strong written communication skills and sharp critical thinking abilities.
• Proven capacity to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfortable with comparing and refining similar written responses.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a fully remote work environment.

Engagement Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous work model, allowing you to set your own schedule.
• Expected weekly commitment ranges from approximately 10 to 40 hours.
• This is a project-based engagement with a strong potential for extension, dependent on project needs and performance.
• Work is performed strictly on an independent contractor basis.

Compensation & Contract Terms

This role offers competitive compensation between USD35–45 per hour, with the specific rate based on your experience and performance. The position is classified as an independent contractor.
