As a Freelance Business Consultant, ML Research, you will be instrumental in translating real-world consulting workflows into structured tasks, datasets, and evaluation criteria. Key Responsibilities

• Break down complex end-to-end consulting workflows (problem structuring, analysis, synthesis) into clear task specifications and comprehensive evaluation rubrics.
• Review, meticulously edit, and benchmark AI-generated outputs, including market analyses, strategic recommendations, operating models, and executive summaries.
• Create high-quality reference examples, such as issue trees, analytical models, and slide outlines, ensuring they adhere to professional consulting standards.
• Identify and document logical gaps, unsupported assumptions, and weak reasoning in AI outputs, providing clear failure patterns and guidance for improvement.
• Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and fellow contributors, utilizing structured documentation and precise written feedback.

Ideal Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience gained at a top-tier management consulting firm or a reputable boutique consultancy.
• Strong foundational understanding of hypothesis-driven problem-solving methodologies and executive-level synthesis.
• Advanced proficiency in using PowerPoint and Excel for complex presentations and data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with market sizing, financial/operating analysis, and qualitative research techniques.
• Exceptional written communication and structured thinking skills are essential.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time and consistently meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
