Keystone Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading global AI player for a specialized Founder Research Consultant. This is a short-term, private engagement focused on documenting and reviewing data systems built or managed by experienced founders and early operators.

The Mission

The core mission involves analyzing the architectural design of various data systems within mid-size startups (20–150 people). This includes a deep dive into:

• Core BI Layers: Dashboards, metrics, cohorts, and funnels.
• Operational Reporting: Over 30 key queries spanning Product, Operations, and Finance functions.
• Stakeholder Logic: Understanding the flow of data from schema definition to actual decision-making processes.

Who This Is For

This engagement is specifically designed for individuals with significant leadership and startup experience:

• Experienced Founders: You must have a proven track record of building or managing complex internal data systems within high-growth environments.
• Startup Veterans: Prior experience in a high-growth startup, specifically within the 20–150 employee range, is a mandatory requirement.
• Domain Agnostic: While specific industry experience is not the primary focus, a strong appreciation for architectural complexity in data systems is highly valued.
• Availability: Candidates must be able to commit to a clearly defined and short-term research engagement.

Engagement Details

The scope of this role is centered on retrospective documentation and a thorough technical review of pre-existing systems. This is a private research initiative, and comprehensive technical specifications along with compensation details will be disclosed after an initial screening process.

Contract and Payment Terms

This position will be structured as an independent contractor engagement. It is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to be completed on your own schedule. Project durations can be adjusted (extended, shortened, or concluded early) based on evolving needs and performance. It is important to note that your work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. Payments will be processed weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
