Keystone Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading global AI player, seeking highly experienced individuals for a specialized research engagement.

Founder Research Consultant

We are inviting Founders and Early Operators to help us document and review data systems they’ve built or managed at mid-size startups (20–150 people). This private engagement focuses on analyzing the architectural complexity behind crucial data infrastructure.

The Mission

  • Core BI Layers: Document and review dashboards, metrics, cohorts, and funnels.
  • Operational Reporting: Analyze 30+ key queries across Product, Ops, and Finance.
  • Stakeholder Logic: Understand how data flows from schema to decision-maker.

Who This Is For

  • Experienced Founders: You have built or managed non-trivial internal systems in high-growth environments.
  • Startup Veterans: Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment (20–150 people) is required.
  • Domain Agnostic: We value architectural complexity over specific industry experience.
  • Availability: You can commit to a short-term, clearly scoped research engagement.

Engagement Details

This is a retrospective documentation and technical review of previously built systems. Full technical specifications and compensation details will be shared after an initial screening. Please note, we are exclusively seeking CEOs, Founders, and Ex-Founders for this role. We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.

Contract and Payment Terms

  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
  • Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
