The Finance Research Specialist role is a remote contract position where you apply financial expertise to evaluate and improve AI model responses for financial queries. You will create high-quality training data through detailed response analysis and annotation.

Partner with leading AI labs to enhance conversational AI systems in banking, accounting, and investment scenarios. Your insights ensure that model outputs deliver accurate reasoning, clear communication, and real-world applicability.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Response Evaluation (60%): Rate LLM-generated answers for accuracy and clarity, identify errors, and score responses using financial rubrics.
- Prompt Refinement (20%): Author precise prompts, test effectiveness, and document optimal prompt structures.
- Annotation & Feedback (20%): Provide detailed annotations, flag issues, and suggest improvements for tone and completeness.
Required Expertise
Professional finance experience in banking, accounting, investments or corporate finance, with an advanced understanding of financial concepts and quantitative reasoning. Adept at explaining complex topics to varied audiences, with strong attention to detail and analytical precision.
Technical Requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Proficiency with office software such as Excel, Word, and PDF annotation tools
- Familiarity with online research and public financial databases
Success Metrics & Project Timeline
Maintain a 95%+ first-pass quality acceptance rate, complete 12-18 evaluations per week, and ensure zero critical factual errors. The project duration is 4-8 weeks with extension opportunities. Onboarding includes resume review and a finance knowledge screening over 2-3 days. Payment is processed weekly via international platforms upon quality approval.
