Job Description
Finance Analyst
Our client, through Keystone Recruitment, is actively seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst. This hourly contract position requires an expert in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) who can deliver advanced expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and investment analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing complex financial and marketing data, deriving actionable insights, and contributing to AI-driven solutions by creating high-impact rubrics and frameworks that guide critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial and marketing datasets to deliver actionable business intelligence.
- Develop, refine, and implement sophisticated financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
- Create comprehensive rubrics and frameworks using domain expertise to enhance AI model performance.
- Prepare, review, and optimize financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Ensure stringent compliance with financial regulations and robust internal controls.
- Advise on key SaaS metrics, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), to inform and shape business strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, or SaaS finance.
- Prior investment banking experience is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Possess a strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or a similar advanced financial certification.
- 7+ years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of SaaS metrics and performance analytics.
