About the Environmental Engineer Remote Role
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to apply technical expertise toward the advancement of AI-driven environmental solutions. This remote role involves applying experience in water resources, air quality, soil remediation, and regulatory compliance to help train and refine advanced AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design/oversee systems to mitigate environmental impacts.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for land use projects.
- Translate environmental scenarios into inputs for AI training.
- Review and validate AI-produced outputs for compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists.
- Advise on compliance strategies and remediation practices.
- Utilize modeling, GIS, and CAD tools for data analysis.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in environmental engineering, water resources, remediation, or compliance. Proficient with tools such as DHI MIKE SHE, RockWare, MODFLOW, Insightful S-PLUS, MATLAB, ESRI ArcGIS, ArcView, Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and other CADD platforms. Must understand environmental regulations and possess exceptional communication and analytical skills to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license or related certification, experience in AI model training, and knowledge of digital sustainability tools. Advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or related discipline is a plus.
