Keystone Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Engineer to apply technical expertise toward advancing AI-driven environmental solutions. In this remote role, you will leverage your experience in water resources, air quality, soil remediation, and regulatory compliance to help train and refine advanced AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design or oversee systems and processes to manage environmental impacts.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for land use and development.
• Translate real-world scenarios into structured AI training inputs.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including scientists and legal advisors.
• Advise on environmental compliance, remediation practices, and sustainability initiatives.
• Utilize modeling, GIS, and CAD tools to analyze and document environmental data.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in environmental engineering, water resources, or remediation.
• Proficiency with modeling tools (DHI MIKE SHE, RockWare, MODFLOW, Insightful S-PLUS, MATLAB).
• Experience with greenhouse gas management, hazardous materials systems, and regulatory platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of GIS systems such as ESRI ArcGIS and ArcView.
• Expertise in CAD software like Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation.
• Ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or environmental engineering certification.
• Experience in AI model training, validation, or environmental data annotation.
• Familiarity with digital sustainability and environmental monitoring technologies.
• Advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
