Role Overview

Our client is actively seeking Engineers to join their team on a project basis. In this fully remote and global role, you will be instrumental in supporting AI systems as they tackle complex, domain-specific engineering challenges. This opportunity is perfectly suited for professionals who possess strong analytical capabilities, hands-on engineering expertise, and a knack for developing and assessing realistic technical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts that accurately reflect real-world engineering situations, encompassing system design, troubleshooting, and optimization tasks.
• Evaluate outputs generated by AI systems, ensuring technical accuracy, clarity, and strict adherence to established engineering principles.
• Draft comprehensive, high-quality reference solutions and articulate the rationale behind technical decisions.
• Systematically identify and document logical inconsistencies, errors, or unrealistic assumptions present in AI-generated outputs.
• Engage in asynchronous collaboration with fellow technical experts and reviewers, utilizing shared documentation and structured feedback mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

• A degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, software, or another related engineering discipline is essential.
• Possess at least 3 years of professional experience in engineering practice, research and development (R&D), or technical consulting.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of engineering methodologies, pertinent tools, and practical problem-solving techniques.
• Exhibit excellent technical writing abilities and strong structured reasoning skills.
• Be comfortable and proficient in reviewing model outputs across a diverse array of engineering domains.

Additional Information

• An expected commitment of 10 or more hours per week.
• Tasks may encompass open-ended analysis, thorough specification reviews, complex calculations, and practical design scenarios.
• Work is deliverables-driven, with clear quality benchmarks and comprehensive expert peer review processes.
