This pivotal role involves supporting AI systems that are designed to reason through highly complex, domain-specific engineering challenges. It is perfectly suited for engineers who possess robust analytical capabilities, practical hands-on experience, and the distinct ability to conceive and assess realistic technical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts based on real-world engineering scenarios, encompassing system design, effective troubleshooting, and optimization strategies.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs meticulously for technical accuracy, clarity, and strict adherence to established engineering principles.
• Draft high-quality reference solutions, providing clear and concise rationales for all technical decisions made.
• Proactively identify logical gaps, potential errors, or unrealistic assumptions within AI-generated outputs.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a network of other technical experts and reviewers, utilizing shared documentation and structured feedback mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

• A relevant degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, software, or another related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in engineering practice, research and development (R&D), or technical consulting.
• A strong foundational understanding of engineering methodologies, relevant tools, and applied problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent technical writing and structured reasoning skills are essential.
• Comfortability in reviewing model outputs across a diverse range of engineering domains.

Additional Information

• Expected commitment for this role is 10+ hours per week, offering flexibility.
• Tasks may involve comprehensive open-ended analysis, thorough specification reviews, precise calculations, and practical applied design scenarios.
• Work is deliverables-driven, with clear quality standards and subject to expert peer review.
