One of Keystone Recruitment's clients is actively seeking engineering professionals for project-based contributions, specifically to support AI systems that are designed to reason through complex, domain-specific engineering challenges. This role is perfectly suited for engineers who possess robust analytical capabilities, practical experience, and the aptitude to develop and assess realistic technical scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed prompts based on real-world engineering scenarios, encompassing system design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established engineering principles.
- Draft high-quality reference solutions and provide comprehensive rationales for all technical decisions made.
- Identify and pinpoint logical gaps, errors, or unrealistic assumptions present in AI outputs.
- Collaborate asynchronously with a network of other technical experts and reviewers, utilizing shared documentation and structured feedback mechanisms.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, software, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in engineering practice, research & development (R&D), or technical consulting.
- A strong foundational understanding of various engineering methodologies, tools, and applied problem-solving techniques.
- Exceptional technical writing abilities and structured reasoning skills.
- Comfortability with reviewing model outputs across a diverse range of engineering domains.
Additional Information
- Expected commitment for this role is 10+ hours per week.
- Tasks may involve open-ended analysis, thorough specification reviews, complex calculations, and practical applied design scenarios.
- Work is deliverables-driven, with clear quality standards and subject to expert peer review.
