One of our clients is actively seeking experienced engineering professionals to contribute on a project basis. This pivotal role involves supporting advanced AI systems specifically designed to reason through complex, domain-specific engineering challenges. It's an ideal opportunity for engineers possessing strong analytical capabilities, practical hands-on experience, and the skill to meticulously create and evaluate realistic technical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts meticulously crafted from real-world engineering scenarios, encompassing system design, complex troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs rigorously for technical accuracy, clarity, and strict adherence to established engineering principles and standards.
• Draft high-quality, comprehensive reference solutions and provide clear, concise rationales for all technical decisions made.
• Proactively identify logical gaps, potential errors, or unrealistic assumptions present in AI-generated outputs.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a diverse team of technical experts and reviewers, leveraging shared documentation and structured feedback mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

• A degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, software, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in active engineering practice, research and development (R&D), or specialized technical consulting.
• A strong, foundational understanding of core engineering methodologies, prevalent tools, and practical applied problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent technical writing and structured reasoning skills, crucial for clear communication.
• Comfort and proficiency in reviewing model outputs across a wide and varied range of engineering domains.

Additional Information

• Expected commitment: A minimum of 10+ hours per week, offering flexibility.
• Tasks may include open-ended analysis, thorough specification reviews, complex calculations, and applied design scenarios.
• Work is deliverables-driven, with clear quality standards and expert peer review integrated into the process.
