About the Engineering Experts Role

Keystone Recruitment is collaborating with a leading AI research lab to find skilled Engineering Experts. This project focuses on advancing engineering problem-solving capabilities within artificial intelligence by creating rigorous, multi-step engineering problems and meticulously evaluating AI-generated solutions for technical accuracy and completeness. This is an hourly contract position for independent contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design original engineering problems that require multi-domain integration, advanced analytical reasoning, and real-world system modeling.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, underlying assumptions, and computational accuracy.
• Document complete, clear solutions and derivations using precise LaTeX formatting.
• Maintain consistently high standards of technical precision, rigor, and overall consistency in all work.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace, chemical engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
• Proven experience in designing, grading, or evaluating analytical or design-focused problems, whether from academic projects, professional roles, or research initiatives.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong documentation and clear communication skills.
• Proficiency in LaTeX formatting for the creation of high-quality technical documents.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in mentorship or active participation in engineering design competitions, modeling challenges, or competitive problem-solving scenarios is considered a plus, though not strictly required.

Contract & Payment Details
