Keystone Recruitment is seeking experienced Detectives and Criminal Investigators to contribute expertise to AI training initiatives. This role is remote and on an hourly contract basis as an independent contractor with rates between USD 20-75 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on investigative procedures and crime scene protocols.
• Review and annotate investigative scenarios to support AI model training.
• Document workflows for interviews, evidence collection, and case file management.
• Contribute insights into evidence preservation and chain-of-custody standards.
• Utilize law enforcement databases and digital tools for structured datasets.
• Evaluate AI-generated investigative summaries for accuracy.
• Support digital image management and crime scene reconstruction processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Detective or Criminal Investigator in law enforcement.
• Strong understanding of investigative protocols and legal standards.
• Experience with NCIC and other law enforcement database systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, MySQL, digital crime scene software, and GIS platforms.
• Familiarity with digital image management and forensic tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training programs, technical documentation, or policy development.
• Background in forensic technology or criminal justice education.
• Exposure to AI tools, data annotation, or digital investigative platforms.
