Content & Literature Specialist

Keystone Recruitment is seeking an experienced Content & Literature Specialist for one of its leading technology clients. This hourly contract role is ideal for literature professionals eager to enhance AI systems in complex literary interpretation, synthesis, and analytical reasoning. If you possess a deep understanding of literary texts and critical analysis, and thrive in an independent, project-based environment, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design rigorous literature-based tasks across diverse genres, time periods, and analytical frameworks.
  • Edit and evaluate AI-generated responses for clarity, interpretive depth, and alignment with academic standards.
  • Develop prompt variations considering response length, tone, style, and intended audience.
  • Identify and meticulously document model failure cases where outputs lack insight, nuance, or accuracy.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with peers and research teams through structured feedback and comprehensive documentation.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Literature, English, or a related humanities discipline.
  • Possess 2+ years of experience in literary teaching, research, publishing, or similar work.
  • Strong grounding in both canonical and contemporary literary works.
  • Demonstrate exceptional writing, editing, and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to critically assess reasoning quality and provide structured, actionable feedback.

More About the Opportunity

This role entails an expected commitment of 10+ hours per week, offering flexibility. Task types span short-form and long-form assignments, including summarization, synthesis, and open/closed question answering. The structure is deliverables-driven, with expert review layers and quality benchmarks to ensure high standards. There is a strong opportunity for continued collaboration based on performance and project needs. Please note that H1-B or STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time.
