Keystone Recruitment is partnering with a client to find experienced literature professionals for a project-based role as a Content & Literature Specialist. Contractors will be instrumental in developing diverse datasets designed to assess and enhance AI systems' performance in complex literary interpretation, synthesis, and analytical reasoning. This opportunity is perfectly suited for experts with profound knowledge of literary texts and critical analysis who thrive in an independent, asynchronous work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design rigorous literature-based tasks spanning various genres, historical periods, and analytical frameworks.
- Edit and evaluate AI-generated responses to ensure clarity, interpretive depth, and adherence to academic standards.
- Develop prompt variations considering length, tone, stylistic requirements, and target audience.
- Identify and meticulously document model failure cases where AI outputs lack insight, accuracy, or textual grounding.
- Collaborate asynchronously with peers and researchers through structured feedback and shared documentation.
Ideal Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Literature, English, or a closely related humanities discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in literary teaching, research, or publishing.
- Strong foundational knowledge of both canonical and contemporary literary works.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interpretive analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to assess reasoning quality and provide clear, structured feedback.
More About the Opportunity
The expected commitment for this Content & Literature Specialist role is 10+ hours per week. Task types include both short-form and long-form assignments, such as summarization, synthesis, and open/closed Q&A. This is a deliverables-driven structure supported by expert review layers and quality benchmarks.
Contract and Payment Terms
This engagement is as an independent contractor, fully remote with flexible scheduling. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on performance and business needs. No access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution will be required. Weekly payments will be made via Stripe or Wise. Keystone Recruitment is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this position.
