Role Overview
One of our clients, a leading technology company, is seeking experienced literature professionals to contribute to a project focused on enhancing AI systems’ performance in complex literary interpretation, synthesis, and analytical reasoning. This opportunity is ideal for experts with a deep understanding of literary texts and critical analysis who can work independently in an asynchronous, project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design rigorous literature-based tasks across genres, time periods, and analytical frameworks
- Edit and evaluate AI-generated responses for clarity, interpretive depth, and alignment with academic standards
- Develop prompt variations based on response length, tone, style, and intended audience
- Identify and document model failure cases where outputs lack insight, nuance, or accuracy
- Collaborate asynchronously with peers and research teams through structured feedback and documentation
Ideal Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Literature, English, or a related humanities discipline
- 2+ years of experience in literary teaching, research, publishing, or related work
- Strong grounding in both canonical and contemporary literary works
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interpretive skills
- Ability to assess reasoning quality and provide structured, actionable feedback
More About the Opportunity
Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week
Task types include short-form and long-form assignments such as summarization, synthesis, and open/closed question answering
Deliverables-driven structure with expert review layers and quality benchmarks
