Role: Chief Operating Officer (Remote)
One of Keystone Recruitment's clients is actively seeking Founders and Early Operators to contribute to a critical initiative: documenting and reviewing existing data systems. This unique engagement focuses on systems built or managed at mid-size startups (ranging from 20 to 150 people).
We are specifically looking for individuals with direct, hands-on experience in building, overseeing, or effectively scaling internal data and reporting systems within dynamic startup environments. Your role will involve meticulously documenting architectural decisions and critically reviewing how operational data meaningfully supports strategic business decision-making.
Who This Engagement Is For
- Experienced Founders: You possess a proven track record of constructing or managing complex internal systems within high-growth settings.
- Startup Veterans: Prior significant experience within a high-growth startup environment (specifically 20–150 employees) is an essential prerequisite.
- Domain Agnostic: We prioritize your expertise in architectural complexity and system design over specific industry experience.
- Availability: You must be able to commit to a clearly defined, short-term research engagement.
Engagement Details
The scope of this role primarily involves retrospective documentation and a thorough technical review of previously implemented systems. This is a private research endeavor, and full technical specifications, along with compensation details, will be thoroughly shared following an initial screening process.
Note:
- We are exclusively seeking CEOs, Founders, and Ex-Founders for this role.
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor, offering flexibility and autonomy.
- This is a fully remote position that can be completed on your own schedule, from anywhere globally.
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on evolving needs and performance.
