Role Overview
As a Chemistry Specialist, you will leverage your advanced chemistry expertise to enhance AI understanding of complex chemical principles, reactions, and laboratory reasoning. This flexible, 100% remote contract position allows you to apply 3+ years of academic or industrial chemistry experience to create, review, and refine high-quality chemistry content essential for frontier AI model development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop realistic chemistry tasks spanning organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and computational subfields.
- Review AI-generated answers for conceptual accuracy, adherence to chemical theory, and computational validity.
- Author original questions, scenarios, and datasets that reflect professional chemistry standards.
- Identify flawed logic, incorrect assumptions, and scientific errors within AI model outputs.
Essential Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of research, teaching, or applied chemistry experience.
- Strong analytical reasoning and scientific writing skills.
- Exceptional attention to technical detail and chemical accuracy.
Contractor Terms
- This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment relationship.
