Job Overview
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Remote role is an independent contractor position that focuses on leveraging clinical expertise to help train and refine AI systems in healthcare and rehabilitation settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert insight on occupational therapy practices for AI training.
- Review, analyze, and annotate AI-generated therapy scenarios.
- Assist in modeling treatment workflows and patient engagement strategies.
- Develop realistic home programs and ADL training scenarios.
- Document clinical processes and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve healthcare AI tools.
- Ensure ethical standards and patient confidentiality are maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications
COTA credential required with clinical experience in rehabilitation settings. Candidates must show strong understanding of treatment planning, ADLs, adaptive equipment, and clear documentation with proficiency in various healthcare software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in AI model training, healthcare data annotation, and digital health initiatives. Familiarity with virtual care delivery models and supporting diverse patient populations is a plus.
