Cargo & Freight Specialist
One of our clients, a global leader in artificial intelligence, is building advanced AI systems designed to understand and reason about real-world logistics, shipping, and freight operations. To support this initiative, Keystone Recruitment is seeking experienced Cargo & Freight Specialists to contribute their industry expertise by creating and evaluating realistic, job-specific scenarios used to train and test AI models.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in freight forwarding, cargo handling, or logistics coordination who are interested in applying their domain knowledge to the development of next-generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review realistic questions and scenarios based on cargo and freight operations
- Provide subject-matter expertise on shipping workflows, documentation, and logistics processes
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, realism, and operational relevance
- Help model how freight agents make decisions in scheduling, routing, customs, and cargo handling
- Ensure scenarios reflect real-world constraints, regulations, and industry practices
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-time professional experience as a Cargo or Freight Agent or in a closely related logistics role
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and cargo movement workflows
- Ability to clearly articulate operational processes and decision-making
- Based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada
- Reliable access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)
Contract & Payment Terms
- Independent contractor engagement
- Fully remote with flexible working hours
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Project length may be extended, shortened, or adjusted based on performance and client needs
- No access to confidential or proprietary employer data is required
- H1-B and STEM OPT sponsorship is not available
