The Role: Trading Operations Specialist, Digital Assets

Keyrock is seeking a dedicated, EMEA-based Trading Operations Specialist, Digital Assets to become a core part of its EMEA trading operations team. This role involves close collaboration with trading, treasury, and wider operations teams during EMEA trading hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing digital asset and fiat related trade settlement, ensuring timely and accurate settlements through communication with internal and external trading counterparties.
• Performing trade reconciliation from post-trade to settlement to guarantee correctness and timeliness.
• Tracking treasury and liaising with trading and finance teams for accurate accounting of asset balances across operations.
• Providing administrative and client communication support, including liaising internally with trading, OTC, and options teams on balances and settlement status.
• Executing asset rebalancing and whitelisting of crypto addresses across multiple Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) and Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) and platforms.
• Managing and adding new banking beneficiaries, and supporting trading desks with fiat transfers and settlements.
• Liaising with Keyrock ’s account managers at banks to confirm cut-off times, fees, and troubleshoot banking services.
• Tracking and alerting internal and external client margin and net open positions, and communicating with clients regarding asset transfers to maintain margin thresholds.
• Tracking and reporting technical and financial problems, and supporting the development team in improving and automating processes.
• Monitoring and project managing internal operations ticketing processes, working with trading teams to streamline and enhance them.
• Overseeing and contributing to the enhancement of external counterparty FX and OTC related trade data collection, documentation, and organization for internal cost and best execution tracking.
• Helping improve the efficiency and design of streamlined trade reporting and post-trade settlement procedures.

Background and Experience

• 3+ years of prior trading and/or trading operations experience, with a focus on settlements and trading reconciliation, strong preference for crypto assets experience.
• Experience in a crypto or traditional finance banking environment, managing multiple currencies and various forms of money transfers/wires, including clearing/settlement within cutoff times.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrable passion for digital assets and blockchain technologies, with an understanding of asset transfers across CEXes and DEXes.
• Adaptable and a strong team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in reconciling, tracking, and presenting asset treasury and balances to internal and external counterparties.
• Added bonus: Familiarity with Python and SQL languages; experience with querying database trade data and generating reports and dashboards.
