Job Summary

Keyfactor is seeking a full-time Integration Engineer to support our sales and delivery teams. This role involves building crucial integrations between our core products and customer enterprise systems such as web servers, networking platforms, ticketing systems, cloud hosting environments, CI/CD platforms, and IoT devices and platforms like Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT, and PTC Thingworx. These integrations primarily extend Keyfactor PKI lifecycle management into various customer environments.

The Integration Engineer will collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop prototype integrations during the demonstration and proof-of-concept phases of the sales cycle, and with Platform Solutions Architects for production-quality integrations during product delivery. Direct client interaction is required to define specific technical integration requirements, necessitating strong software development skills for implementation. Additionally, this role contributes to creating solution guides and training labs for our delivery organization and technology partners.

Applicants must hold US citizenship or US permanent resident status.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales engineering and delivery teams to design and develop code-based integrations between the Keyfactor platform and customer enterprise systems and IoT device management platforms.
  • Engage with prospective and existing customers to determine technical and operational requirements for Keyfactor integrations.
  • Provide customers, partners, and Keyfactor support personnel with comprehensive integration documentation.
  • Create clear solution guides and engaging training labs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and effective time and task management in a dynamic, rapidly growing company environment.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fundamental proficiency with industry-standard operating systems and business application suites.
  • Software development experience using the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, IIS, MSSQL, AD/Entra, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Internet systems development experience, including working with HTTP and consuming 3rd party APIs.
  • Willingness to learn new languages, technologies, and APIs to meet evolving customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital certificates and their practical usage.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and professional writing skills.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with DevOps technologies like Kubernetes or Hashicorp Vault and Terraform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) or cryptography concepts is a plus.

Compensation

Salary for the Integration Engineer position will be commensurate with experience.
