Job Summary
The Salesforce Business Analyst at KeyBank is responsible for executing strategic projects that enhance the Salesforce platform. The candidate collaborates with business and technology teams to capture, document, and translate business requirements into technical details. This role is highly visible and directly impacts internal and external customers.
Essential Functions
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading discovery and deep dive sessions to understand current state and opportunities
- Documenting current and future state processes with process flow diagrams
- Facilitating brainstorming, design, and solution meetings with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements for the development team
- Writing acceptance criteria and test scripts for new functionality
- Coordinating testing activities and assisting with change management
- Managing project backlogs to maximize business value
- Partnering with product owners to update on project progress
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. The candidate should have 2-3 years of financial services experience and 1-2 years using the Salesforce application.
Skills
- Commercial banking, onboarding or servicing knowledge is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Clouds/Tools (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics)
- Project management and team leadership skills
- Understanding of Agile concepts and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Ability to develop test scripts and manage system testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands
This is a general office role that includes prolonged sitting, frequent computer use, and occasional lifting of light items.
Work Location & Compensation
This hybrid role requires presence on-site at least 2 days per week. The position offers a base salary between $71,000 and $122,000 annually along with eligibility for incentive compensations and a comprehensive benefits package.
