Job Description

Marketing Manager Automotive

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Manager to oversee the brand presence and lead-generation efforts for our dealer group. In this role, you will be the architect of our marketing strategy, ensuring our message is consistent across our websites, social media, and community events. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who lives for data-driven results and understands how to move metal in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Budgeting: Develop and execute an annual marketing calendar that aligns with manufacturer (OEM) incentives and sales goals. Manage the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee dealership websites (SEO, and content updates) and manage all third-party listing sites (e.g., CarGurus).
  • Social Media and Content: Lead the strategy for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Create engaging organic content and manage targeted paid social campaigns.
  • Events and Community: Plan and execute showroom events, new model launches, and community sponsorships to drive foot traffic and local brand loyalty.
  • Lead Generation and CRM: Work closely with the Sales Departments and Business Development Center (BDC) to track lead quality and optimize the customer journey from “click to keys.”
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and respond to online reviews (e.g., Google, Yelp) to maintain a high-ranking digital reputation.
  • Creative Direction: Coordinate with videographers, photographers, and graphic designers to produce high-quality assets for digital and traditional media.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Experience: 3-5 years in marketing, preferably in the automotive industry or high-ticket retail.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4, and Automotive CRM software (e.g., VinSolutions, DealerTrack).
  • Creative Flair: Experience in basic content creation (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere).
  • Communication: Exceptional writing skills for ad copy.
  • Analytical Mind: Ability to interpret “cost per lead” and “cost per sale” data to pivot strategies quickly.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel between our four dealership locations in Milford, Manchester, and Middletown, Connecticut. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
