Job Overview: Local CDL A Truck Driver
As a Local CDL A Truck Driver for Keurig Dr Pepper in Knoxville, TN, you will be responsible for delivering our diverse range of products to small retailers along a predefined route. This role involves manually unloading trucks using a hand dolly, engaging with customers to build strong relationships, and assisting with stocking shelves and coolers as requested. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive hands-on training will be provided upon hire.
Shift and Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Starting at 4:30 AM until the route is completed
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- All routes are local
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment. You should enjoy interacting with people and prefer being active off the truck rather than just driving. Equipment and Responsibilities
This position may involve operating various equipment such as Tractor Trailers, Semi-trucks, Pup Trailers, Box Trucks, and different length trailers (28 ft, 32 ft, 53 ft), as well as utilizing a pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly. Core responsibilities include driving, maintaining a CDL A, and performing direct customer deliveries.
Total Rewards
The starting pay is competitive at $26.99 per hour, increasing to a higher rate of $28.41 per hour in the quarter following your six-month anniversary. Benefits, subject to eligibility, include Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (vacation and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL A)
- Ability to maintain a valid DOT Driver Qualification File
