Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
This position plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Coles College of Business. This role is responsible for college operations, including accreditation, budget, facilities, external affairs, and technology. Oversees partnerships and alliance in an effort to further the branding and awareness of the college and its programs and research. Facilitates high-level administrative processes between college and the Office of Academic Affairs as well as other units at the university. This role assists the dean to ensure productivity and adherence to strategic goals to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the college.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage budgets in compliance with university policy and procedures, strategically aligning various sources with priorities and strategic plan, and managing spending, monitoring, and identifying opportunities for cost-savings.
- Provide oversight and management of facilities related to the college, including building maintenance, space allocation and usage, and capital projects, problem-solving and addressing issues in support of effective and efficient college operations.
- Oversee accreditation processes related to this position including AACSB and SACS (budgets, data collection, facilities, technology, compliance, coordination).
- Facilitate key strategic alliances and partnerships in the external community for the college, including partnership marketing and external relations with the communications team.
- Develop strategies to increase alumni engagement in the college with alumni events and programs, and partner with the Alumni Association to support, identify, and cultivate alumni involvement.
- Manage college IT operations including staff and faculty support for technology needs within the college and partner with UITS to support, identify and promote operational efficiencies in technology needs for the college.
- Responsible for the management of assigned staff such as performance management, hiring, training, time management, etc.
- Facilitate high-level administrative processes between Academic Affairs and other campus stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks (i.e., financial, facilities) and implement strategies to mitigate them ensuring compliance with all University, BOR, and USG policies, rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Required Experience
- Ten (10) years of relevant work experience to include supervisory and budget management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Business Administration.
Proposed Salary
