About the Role

The Executive Assistant role at Kemper Insurance is a full-time, on-site position supporting the Business Systems Chief Information Officer and his management team. The candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, manage complex schedules, prepare high-quality presentations and documents, and facilitate effective communication across various organizational levels while handling confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years supporting multiple senior executives including C-suite personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with advanced skills.
  • Experience in drafting professional and diplomatic correspondence.
  • Proven ability to manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in hybrid or remote work environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CIO and management team.
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings and scheduling logistics.
  • Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and expense reports efficiently.
  • Prepare and review correspondence, reports, and other documents with accuracy.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Conduct internet research and gather relevant data for decision-making.
  • Coordinate administrative activities across various organizational units.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Assist with special projects and support departmental goals.
